no.11 Alison Waters has expanded her career-long relationship with
Ashaway by signing up to use its popular Powerkill 115ZX racket.
“It’s a great light racket, flexible and durable,” said the
35-year-old Londoner, who added that it was suitable for “anyone who
likes an evenly-balanced racket and a player that likes to volley.”
The four-time British national champion also uses Ashaway bags and
has been a devotee of Ashaway’s SuperNick XL string throughout her
career.
“It’s a string I feel comfortable with, as it’s good for its power
and durability,” she explained.
“I get my rackets strung at the Roehampton club at tension 27 a week
or so before an event starts, so that I can get start using the
racket I like in preparation.”
